A Theotokan Speaks about this Apparition
In the first in this series on apparitions for the world “Sister Anne” focused on the lesser known prelude to the vision of the Miraculous Medal. She continues the premise that the Blessed Mother’s apparitions are unique pieces of a large mosaic, not rubber stamps of the same message. Only by laying out all of them can one view the mosaic to see the larger message. Even though this is a course on the Apparitions of Mary, in the last discussion “Sister Anne” drew together the prodigies of three images of the Holy Face that have spanned the era from the 1840s to the present. She did this for several reasons. Although quoting all fifty messages to Sr. Marie St Pierre was not practicable, Our Lady did speak to Sr. Marie St Pierre, not just our Lord. As “Sister Anne” points out, the burden of the Holy Face message concerned the first three commandments, which because the Archbishop took no notice, Sr. Mary St Peter pleaded with Mary to appear to someone in another diocese to make known these messages. Thus, the LaSalette message of our Lady in tears is closely allied with images of Jesus or God the Father shedding tears. At LaSalette our Lady shared a common message to both Maximin and Melanie, but there were also times where the message was only for one and not the other. Thus there are two discussions in this chosen place. One about Maximin, and one about Melanie
